It takes a special breed of men and women to accomplish a performing coaching team. There are many aspects to take into account when we look at what performance actually entails. There are many sacrifices to be made too. Meeting and working with other coaches is fundamental. Yes, competition exists between teams belonging to the same club. You will always have the younger team wanting to beat the older one. This happens a lot, which is why it is important for coaches to provide a healthy competitive environment. If the teams are even, then may the Team that plays best on the day win. Problem is when one Team is much stronger than the other one, and it may well be it's the younger Team. It's good practice for the players to get friendlies, but don't arrange a friendly against a much stronger or much weaker side and allow any side to get hammered.
