Although an old venue, we certainly managed to make the most of it. Many hours of work and funding by the club, saw the gym become a crucial allocation for the Youth Teams. Becoming the caretaker of this remarkable building was an added bonus to my Youth Development Manager role. It was a lot of work, but this humble old building was my not only my pride and joy, but my refuge too. It's where I used to think.
